GM To Recall Certain 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon According to the latest reports coming in, General Motors will be recalling their 2012 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado. The recall will be affecting certain models of Canyon and Colorado, which according to the recall report have flawed electrical connector ends on the driver’s seatbelt clasp that might not fit cozily with the connector pivots, and consequently could cause poor connection. The same reason for the recall was reported by NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) in their recall summary. The flawed seatbelt clasp for the driver’s end could lead to a missed audible or visual caution notifying that the seatbelt has not been fastened properly and consequently could result in increase in the danger during the event of an accident.
