The new 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac is an all round utility vehicle that is segmented under specialized section. The new Ford has a comfort cabin and has ample of towing capabilities giving a V8 power engine. The 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac could be termed under an Explorer SUV tag as it can be equipped with a pickup cargo bed that could be fitted in the second row seat. The new Ford Explorer is being offered in two trim levels that are the XLT and the Limited versions. The XLT Ford Explorer comes fully equipped and exclusively features a composite cargo box. The new XLT Ford version comes with equipments like fog lights, 16 inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, leather wrapped steering wheel, air-conditioning, power sliding rear window, CD player with satellite radio.

The 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac limited trim version comes with features like heated front seats, 18 inch wheels, color keyed bumpers, heated side mirrors, leather seating arrangements, Ford’s Sync multimedia interface, subwoofer and a premium six CD audio system that comes with a subwoofer options. There are many power tools and power option that goes best with the new Ford Explorer Sport Trac machine, some features are available as options or packages. The Adrenalin sport package is an optional package with 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac; the package includes features like interior stylish designs, 20-inch alloy wheels and unique exterior styling. Other features or equipments in the new machine largely depend on the model or trim you select. The Sport Trac package extra optional features includes a sunroof, V8 power engine, rear parking sensors, dual zone automatic climate control, power adjustable pedals, Sirius travel link, voice operated navigation system and 10 GB digital music storage options.

The 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac powertrain comes with standard options of 4.0 liter V6 engine that generated over 210 horsepower and 254 pound feet of torque levels. The new machine is a five speed automatic transmission. The optional on the Limited trim version comes a 4.6-liter V8 engine that boosts of 292 horsepower and 315 pound feet of torque, the engine is paired with a six speed automatic options. All the Sport trace versions are available with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive options. The new Explorer has greater towing capabilities that come along with a strong V8 acceleration. The machine can tow up to 7,160 pounds at its maximum trailering capability. The safety features of the new machine include traction control, trailer sway control, stability control with rollover protection, side curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags.
